Description
Here it is, my final assignment (thesis work?) in Lybecker Institute of Crafts and Design.This little thing was my life from last December all the way to to the last days of May. I was supposed to upload this month ago, but unfortunately the original file was too big for DA, and I didn't have a film editing program of my own, so you can all thank my friend ~Drazca for letting me use her computer with Adobe After Effects. ^^
Animation, story, narration, voice acting and foaley artistness is by yours truly, the dog barks and growls in fourth scene are free sound effects and the music used was catalogue music, which licence belongs to Lybecker Institute of Craft and Design, and are free to use in projects within Lybecker.
In case you were wondering, the speech is in my mother tongue. That's what Finnish sounds like.
I am now officially diagnosed with animation. Oh, yeah!

Your animation is flawless!!! I like how it shows the perspective of the "evil" hounds. it makes you think of why "evil" people are evil, it's not for the sake of being evil it's because they feel they have a need to fill, in this case it was the father hound fighting for his family. Actually from my perspective, the one's at fault are the "good" dogs who don't even realize the evils they do to the hell hounds. Truly well done!!!!

question but how manny frames in general does this have? i bet it was a heck of alot of paper lol.

oh my goodness! I hope you continue this! I already love your comic! and this was extremely smoothe and kinda almost made me cry at the end. the music you chose for it was so perfect! and your Finnish made it better somehow too- even thought at the begining it was a little hard to read the subbs but I realize it wasn't made for DA ^ ^

I am absolutley gob-smacked this is fantastic, and the timing's spot on. Unfortunatley I haven't had chance to watch it with sound since I'm at work, so I'll look forward to that when I get hold of some headphones. But seriously this has made my day. Uber animation talent!

That's utterly gorgeous, and very cool to see them moving after reading the story for so long! Hope it at least got a good grade?

This was superb. The animation of the hounds and dogs flowed so well. I like how you shifted from the engraving type drawing to the female hound and her solemn expression.
I hope you can do more of these. ^^

Animaatio oli mukavan sulavaa ja nättiä. Äänimailma ei ehkä täysin tukenut animaatiota.
Hiomista on siis kuitenkin vielä, mutta tuo on mitä mainioin alku animaattorinurallesi.

Ihan mieletöntä, animointi on todella sujuvaa ja kaunista ja taustat ovat kuin karkkia. Ääninäyttely on hieman yksipuolista, minun mielestäni olisit voinut saada suuremman eron aikaiseksi kertojaäänen ja pennun äänen välille mutta tuokin kuulostaa jo todella hyvältä. Video näyttää upealta ja saisi varmasti kenet tahansa innostumaan WURR:ista. Olet tehnyt loistavaa työtä

Vau, pitää sanoa että ihan loistavaa työtä tässä on nähty : D Sulavaa animaatiota mikä ei omasta mielestäni töki missään kohtaan, ja tarinankerrontakin toimi hyvin mukana. Kansainvälisesti tietenkin myös tekstitys on kohdillaan :3
- Pidän mielettömästi varsinkin siitä, miten puhtaasti kaikki on piirretty ja väritetty, ja miten jokainen raajan liike aiheuttaa jonkinlaisen reaktion myös koko kehossa, ja saa sen näyttämään varsin realistiselta. Hyvännäköinen oli myös hornan hurtan kaatuminen kahden koiran voimasta. Kaiken kaikkiaan pidän tästä ihan mielettömästi, ja lopun kaihoisa surumielisyys oli varsin oiva tapa lopettaa.
Hienoa työtä, täytyy sanoa!
