I have this new feeling... it's really weird... i... I... I actually LIKE most of how this turned out... but... that could be just cause Shadow and Rouge stuff is normally so cute...

There's a loooooong story, so you can just skip this if you don't feel like reading this. I got the "You Raise me up" song stuck in my head. Come on, you know, "you raise me up so I can stand on mountains, you raise me up to walk on stormy... seas"... okay, maybe few know it, but it plays constantly on radios over here. And I don't know why. So, this was first gonna be me, cause... I was gonna draw my friends... somehow... but I didn't know how. Next choice was something with Meta Knight... but I had NO ideas for that. So then it was gonna be a picture of Shadow alone flying with his shoes or whatever with either faded or bright angel wings of some sort with Maria in the background. But the fact that I can't draw a human face and I wanted this to be good kinda... badly ruined it. Then I was gonna put Rouge in the background, but... I dunno, it just wouldn't be as good... cause... angelic wings just... wouldn't come from Rouge. So while Shadow was partially colored, I moved him aside and put Rouge there to hold his hand (which I just thought was cute), but Shadow's original pose... reeeeeally sucked for this picture. He was looking diagonally up at the sky... and... I just erased it and re-did him.

... now for the final explanation. Now it's a mix between the song "You Raise Me Up" I mentioned earlier and "Hikaru Michi/ Shining Road", cause of the line "If we are hand in hand, the seal to the shining path will break, which is what's... kinda happening. The dark clouds are splitting apart with the ray of light as they fly together. Or... something like that.

... and this took several hours, belive it or not. I gotta fix a few slight things, but it's pretty much done...
