She stands at ease under the moonless skies, holding in her hands a strange skull. Its paleness almost glowed in the dark, but it was the eerie protrusions on its forehead that drew the eyes. They were tiny horns jutting out.

Slowly, she lifted this horned skull to her lips, chanting and whispering softly, incessantly, seductively, as she did so.

And then, I swear... ! Where there were naught in the hollows of the skulls' eye sockets, there were ...something there now. I watched, as it opened its undead eyes, smiling as she holds it up to her kiss... A presence from beyond the veil!
