They say dreams are like dark waters, and if so, I wonder what kind of fishes swim there.

I made this drawing inspired by that thought, of a strange boy who weaves fishes in the dark waters...

The witchy woman represents good dreams, and fantastical things, like fishes that can swim in mid-air and dance a spell for happy thoughts.

And this boy represents those other dreams, unsettling and dark, strange waters, vulnerability, things that are eeriely too big for comfort, things like that~

Together, they are the light and dark of our surreal landscapes that we visit when we sleep :>
