Gorgon, from the Greek mythologies. My fourth and final piece done with micron 005 on pale blue paper : )

There's three Gorgon sisters, and out of the three, only one is mortal (Medusa), the other two are not as well known, though. In Greek ancient times, the image of gorgons are often used to protect or guard a thingy, like temples or shields. I like who frightful they are! They are often depicted with scowling or angry expressions on their face, and with their snakes snarling, ready to turn people into stones! But, I guess there must be times, too, when they are peaceful and just wondering around thinking what they'd like for lunch for the day.... So I drew that peaceful moment Gorgon lady for this picture : )
