Princess Butterfly : ) My third piece done with micron 005 on pale blue paper.

She wasn't a particularly outspoken princess, I imagine her from one of the smaller kingdoms, and she was kept by her family secluded in her 'safe' quarters. But what they did not know was that she was able to communicate with butterflies and so she was able to ask them news from the outside world, and they even helped her communicate with many friends from far away lands! Through these connections, she learned and she applied herself, and even if her family thought of her only as a bargaining chip to be married off, she was not deterred to invest in her own abilities and her own knowledge : )
