lol, thats like what I did, I found a pretty pic in a magazine, and practiced my sketching, which didn't turn out too bad. But it was a light rough sketch, not the blending type, which I haven't figured out

cuz i find it like REALLy difficult to sketch pics from the computer

lol, I have Gimp2, I can enlarge pics so I get full details on my screen, and move my keyboard so I can work with my pastels.

Well, the size is no prob for me...it's well...
I just find it uncomfortable to draw in a chair
I prefer to sketch in my bed...BUt it seems that I cannot bring the monitor in bed with me
And also, cuz I like having the reference pic as close to my sketchpad as possible

OMG I wanna draw in bed! I've tried that before, with my tom pic, but I ended up just sitting in bed hunched over my pic, my back killing me slowly X.x
Doing it at the computer is easier for me, got a nice desk, comfy chair, a sketchpad infront of me, and all I have to do is look up at the screen to see my reference. Sometimes I'll print out the reference to take around with me if I'm being completely dedicated to finishing it quickly.
