This is a response to a forum thread. Sorry for the wait.

The feeling all over the picture is one of darkness and surreality, fantasy and deformation. I like the fact that you played with the texture of the background and those tiny elements, such as the stork, the heart and the balloon burning. The manipulation of the two people melting together and being differentiated by those stretching muscles are lovely done. However, I would have eliminated some of the motives you have all around the picture(those almost-white motives, circled).

I have nothing else to say. It's gorgeous.

I really like this. It's very strange. Not in a bad way, in a very good way. The way the figures are joined, you would think it would be painful, because it looks like they're pulling on each other but, at the same time, when you take in the rest of the piece, there's a very wonderful and beautiful calm about it. A sweetness almost. (especially with the humming bird). Like the joined figures are very content and happy being joined this way. This is definitely a favorite of mine. Beautiful work!

Feels almost like it could be the cover of a Tool album.
