I have that program too(a higher version 9.0), but I can not save animed pictures as gif. I can only save them as psd.
Can you teach me how ?

Um.. not sure if we have the same options. But while it's open, choose to view it as "optimized," then click on "file," then "save optimized as.." At least that's how I do it.
