Sooooo... I hope we could still send in entries! I hadn't participated in a contest for a while now, so I figured it was about time!

Here's a hybrid I designed for , a club that runs a contest about creating a mascot. I actually wanted to include all the animal classes (mammals, birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles and even intervertebrates) and I tried... but no, din work. So I erased some unnecessary features like the insect tail. I also kept the colors simple because all the different species features are already a little complicated. I didn't want to exaggerate.

/ahem. Now more about the actual animal! After I figured that I'm pushing it a little too far with all the features, I chose ONE mammal that should be the "main animal". Lol I have no idea how to explain this. It's a mix between a red-tailed deer and a water deer (damn, a hybrid inside a hybrid? genius). That's also where the long fangs come from. I wasn't going to make it a water deer at first, but it fitted perfectly! I mean look at it: A deer with reptile/amphibian/fish feet! A water deer! Haha. Yeah, I'm feeling punny lately. Anyhow. I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep the bird wings, but a hybrid without wings? No. Just no. I think I was thinking a little too much while designing this. xD But it was fun nevertheless.

I also decided to not give it a gender, but since I drew it with fangs I guess it's male, haha. :U Hope you like it! /yawn bed time!

Name and other things? I think I'll let decide.
