Maybe you guys expected another evolution of Hunkajunk next, but in an effort to maintain the quality of the designs, I will be taking my time with them to make sure when I do post them, they are truly great designs.

Onto this guy. Funny story how I came up with it. I was looking at some Fakemon by another artist (don't remember who atm), and I saw something that made me think of a super buff Pikaclone. I laughed to myself a little, but then I realised an Electric/Fighting Pikaclone would be really cool, and I had an idea for the body shape. After designing it, it came out far less goofy than my original meme idea. I chose a Capybara for the basis for two reasons, 1. There is no Capybara yet in Pokemon and I myself have been having trouble redesigning this monstrosity: fav.me/dcsufsf (It's not bad per say, but a very dry design) 2. for a bulky Pikaclone, a Capybara being the largest rodent works really well. And so Denkapi (which I originally dubbed Swolechu X3) was born.

Design Inspiration Denkapi is based on a Capybara. It's torso is based on sleeveless shirts and muscle suits (which is where it's ability comes from). It's red marks are supposed to resemble both veins and thunderbolts. Denkapi's demeanor is based on a common conception that Capybara's are friendly animals, as there are many images of Capybaras hanging out with other animal species (including a great one with a crocodile).

Etymology Denki (Japanese word meaning 'Electricity') + Capybara

New Section! I felt like "Notable Moves" was a bit bland and uninformative, usually mentioning obvious moves. So here I will put a bit of a breakdown on how this Fakemon plays in battle.
Battle Tactics Denkapi being a brutish Pikaclone I wanted it to make it a mixed attacker, using it's electrical energy and muscles. One quirk of it's moveset will be that it's electric attacks are all Special and it's Fighting attacks are all Physical. To have absolute coverage with this Fakemon, you will need a set with both Special and Physical moves. Denkapi's attacks are both pretty low, but its ability Muscle Suit as well as its boosting moves allow it to hit with super-effective hits with good coverage. With being a mixed attacker, it can hit other Pokemon on their weaker defense. It can use Work Up to boost its Attack and Special Attack at the same time.

Dex Entry Denkapi put up an intimidating persona to foes and even fluff up their purple fur to appear more imposing, but they are actually big softies and once you cut through their facade they are great friends.

Denkapi is not known to evolve.
