A HUMANIZED version of Goombella? What is this?!!!!
Nawwwww, just kidding. Anything else this is pretty damn amazing and kudos to thinking up the idea there Paradox-Shifter . Rather like the idea of her trying to be more than just a tiny mushroom and thinking up more depth you could give her with a full body.
And that you accomplished pretty well her with your work. Shame you had to cut off some of the image, but not really complaining too much. Besides, it is really neat how much of charm you managed to give Goombella and even the way you got down alot of her details from the game with the ionic hat, book on hand and even the nature of the clothing feels just like the real deal.
Personally like best here is the pose and the way she looks off her shoulder. Like you just broke her from concentration on her reading and and she's wondering what you want. The eyebrows definitely do that sort of body language as I read them but fascinating work on those eyes and making them so very expressive and lovely to look at.
Will say too good show on the coloring here as well. Matching the colors again to the original and even seeing some hints of shadowing here and there around the arms, the pant legs and underneath her helmet too. Would say to keep up practicing using those techniques along with even some lighter tones like make the hair shine a bit just like you manage to make the eyes do.
Even then, this is just fantastic. You handled Goombella so very well and cheers to your work on humanizing character like that of the Paper Mario series. Do keep up the wonderful artwork Paradox-Shifter .

Just so you know, I really don't do review or critiques on people's artwork. Much rather compliment on the things they did right and the neat ideas that they tried to put into their drawings.
