this is INSANELY detailed! i love the "don't touch my groin" from the one where he goes to Taco Smell. the hair and fingers are what gets me. how did you sculpt those?

sorry for the delay..ive been without the internets and in a huge artistic rut..deviant art hasnt been a place ive had reason to visit. its pretty simple.. i did the hair and fingers by making spikes of poly clay, then, craefully cutting them in half with a razor. i then turned the pieces around and glued them back together. by varying the angle at which i cut i can make a piece of hair or finger appear more or less bent but at a sharp otherwise impossible angle when sculpting soft clay. im a genius..i know.. i was all like "OooH! duuude im awesome!" when i though of that...lol..ill have some remakes of older original works up soon if your interested..but everybody likes johnny..nobody cares about my original crap..sigh..

It looks really skinny, have any trouble coming up with a thin enough guage armiture?
I like the knife he carries, is it a real razor, or is it just me?

everything on him is clay including the knife..so it was just you..lol.. it just kinda rests in his hand..i could remove it if i wanted to. the armature is actually not true armature made for this sort of thing.. its black plastic coated copper wire thats used for wirecraft more than frames.. but for a figure this size,which is only about 6" tall, it was more than good enough. His legs are only about 3/4 of a cm in diameter on the thighs. and yeah the pic was taken with the new camera.. i kept the actual picture huge so when you zoomed in you could see all the details. the camera came from somewhere in the UAE over near Oman. the girl who gave it to me never specified which UAE state she was from ill hafta ask her

Very good man, its a little glossy but thats just fine. The hair looks great and so does everything else but great job on the hair.. It looks very good. Muwahahha jonnys shirts are the best.... I personally like.... Smile you Fucker!

thats my favorite too!..but it woulda taken too much effort.. by the time i was doing the shirt i just wanted to finish him.. other prjects were getting started as my ADD kicked into gear.. so i just decided to go with that one..lol
