I'm heading to Afghanistan in august.I'm not sure where in Afghan yet until the last moment (it's how the ARMY rolls)
and yes I can bring my camera but I won't be able to upload them until December.

No not at all,I think you won't need to cause I will be able to go online but for what I hear it's really,really slow.My medical unit told me about a year but I'm guessing more then a year,so who knows? I'll try to be careful but every part of the country is dangerous now.

yeah it is... for everyone including the civilians.
i thought the usually tour was about 13 months. you know it definitely could give you some awesome photo opportunities ranging from landscape to photojournalism. i look forward to seeing what you take.... i just wish you weren't going to be in such a dangerous place. when the time comes around i would love to be pen pals, it may be slow but it's the easiest way to send care packages

I'd love that,I just have to figure out where in Afghan am I going to be and with what company.I'm excited about the whole opportunity as well,I'd love to take shots of a whole new world.My destination could change as well,you never know until the last minute with the ARMY so who knows.Cheers babe!
