As for the helmet there's unfortunately no plans as of yet to start one but it may happen in a while depending on other projects.

The kit is made from 2x2 eva foam flooring mats. The carbon fiber look is actually the texture that comes built into the foam when you buy it so I didn't actually have to do anything to get the look!

I used a mix of templates and scratch built work using those 2x2 eva foam flooring mats that you can get at Walmart for 11$. Nice and cheap, easy to work with and super quick to use.

Oooooh! no wonder it has that texture! how do do bend them? cuz I use hair dryer for the thin ones. not sure thick ones like those can bend as easy.

They hold their shape pretty well if you have them under pressure from some glued parts but I use a heat gun to shape all my foam.

When you say "it's not difficult to make" what do you mean exactly? Heh, I've always wanted to try ME Cosplay, but I don't (yet) have the technical skills to make something like that.

Well most of the work is just assembling and modifying templates to fit you. it's pretty much just "print the templates to scale, assemble them in the way that you think it should be assembled (the n7 armour isn't very difficult to assemble compared to other costumes that have much more angles and details), make modifications where you see fit for fit, comfort and looks, paint in desired design, wear and be awesome. Working with the foam is very easy so it makes the whole process much less of a hassle.

That does sound relatively easy, but could I ask where you got such templates? I can find a few leads with a simple google search, but your set is already proven to look awesome.

Thanks!! I ran out of time and did the gold stripes and the alliance pin the day of the release. My original plan was to go with my custom white and gold colours. I'll be updating the paint job sometime soon hopefully.
