thanks
a repeated motif throughout my work tweeked, shifted, or skewd color schemes. it comes, i think, from always being told that i'm color blind.
i'm know to call a blue a purple or a green, or a red may look green or brown, or purple as pink or blue; there are several pemutations. think of a color palatte with defined boundries, then blur all those boundries, so that you can never really tell if your in california or nevada, or baja for that matter.
(i always seem to end up in a metaphor)
anyway, i can see a blue as blue, or grey, or violet, or pink, or green. i can also sit there and insist and argue all day that the sky is purple today
grey scale is lots of fun for this reason; i can sit there and stair at a b/w piece and color it and recolor in my mind.

Hehe really great metaphors. I think color perception (or any perception) is fascinating, and artists with "nonconventional" color perception (rather than color-blind, which tends not to describe the situation completely) could have unique works lol at the sky being purple.
