Well I felt like the day of the photoshoot was like one of those days. It had rained early that morning and cooled the weather off, and Niccoli (I named my camera ) was just begging to go on an outting. So he and I went to the Zoo and Botanical Gardens. I get there -- the park has a well though out set up in my opinion: in the center is the river and on one side is the zoo and the other side is the gardens and nature trails. I parked on the garden side and went there first. The first thing I see, as it's late April right now, with everything in peek bloom, is color color color everywhere, and also fragrance upon intoxicating fragrance, and then more color. It was literally one of those natural highs. Mind you I've got Felix with me as well (I also named my mp3 player), and naught else is on it but some of the most gorsgeous classical music, mostly just piano. This of course just adds to the inoxication. So between all I see and all I hear and even all I smell, and hence all I feel, I'm just overwhelmed with beauty, and just like that guy in "American Beauty" it's more than I can take. All this and I haven't even gotten to the zoo yet. Of course when I do, the most of the animals are cooperating so well as to be incredible. After I left I was still in the zone and had to keep making stops on the way home to photo things that just had to get captured on camera. Needless to say I was a wonderful day.
