Description:

Apple is the PFA's preservation stallion for the Tabellari breed of fine travel and pleasure-riding striders. They would have preferred to get a royal champagne, but that was just too expensive. So they settled for Apple and a het champagne mare, hoping to breed their own royals. It wasn't all that much of a settle, really. Apple's lustrous coat is still beautiful, and his claws flash as golden in the sun as one could want. He's considered a fine specimen of Tabellare conformation; perhaps not a world champion, but certainly a respectable example of the breed, originating from an old and respected bloodline from the country of Tulgopar in southwestern Purayan.

He could have raced, hypothetically, but his owner had an unusual hobby that he preferred to pursue. So Apple spent his working life doing endurance trails - long, grueling paths through mountains and other remote wilderness that take several days to complete. Apple is therefore used to carrying camping gear. He's normally rather hard to read, but he will snort audibly in annoyance if he catches sight of a tent or a bedroll, and if given a chance he might well 'accidentally' destroy such gear.

Apple may be past his working years, but the aging stallion is still fond of spending time with eligible mares. Beyond that, he seems to be enjoying his retirement, sedately pacing the length and breadth of his pasture as he relishes his golden years. Apple's PFA handler occasionally takes him out for a ride, exploring gentle trails in local state and national parks - but always short ones that can be completed that day. No camping gear.
