What a fun expiriment! How did you shoot it, did you use a timer on your camera or did you just drop the color in and quickly shoot?

Aye it was great fun!
I froze the water to just before freezing (in a water bottle), with the camera ready to go in front of it, then photographed a series from the moment it was dropped in, until it was almost completely full. Because the water was cold, it took a while to spread, giving me a lot to choose from
