Just messing around!This is actually a very old image. Was experimenting with the idea of the Websurfers crew suddenly becoming human and how they might react. I like to imagine weΒ are viewing the initial post-change thirty milliseconds preceding a complete mental breakdown for Pepsi, here.

No, it has nothing to do with the comic or anything! Just a draft pass of an idea that I'll probably never finish.

I suppose I could revisit it and do the rest! Well half of them are actually already done, including Pepsi here, but I was only really happy with this one so would likely redo the others.Β

Hmm... elastic waistband! Also I can't draw clothes, it seems (inb4 "hurr draw them without clothes then").
Clothes are second only to hands on my list of things which are awkward as crap to draw, but for very different reasons. Fabric falls in a certain way which is hard to replicate (for me), not to mention what choices for colour, style, etc.Β
Hands are still worse, though.

Half of them are already done, technically, I just wasn't really happy with the image any more so put it to one side. Pepsi here was the only one I was content with, would probably redraw the rest. Their postures don't look right once inked in and the clothes are stupid. I can barely dress myself, let alone kit out five ladies in stuff which doesn't look completely bizarre. Chromia looks like she's wearing some sort of fluorescent nightgown with slippers instead of a dress and shoes at the moment, it's ridiculous

Life goes well, but still no bloody time to draw. New job, even less time left in the day now but I do get half the day off on Fridays.. so I'm HOPING that will lead to some increased drawing... nice large chunk of time (it's a lot harder to get into the flow of drawing in a short evening).
