It's not a falcon. It's a Harris Hawk. They live mostly in the Southwest, I think.

No problem. I've been somewhat obsessed with raptors since I was fairly small, and the Harris Hawk is my favorite bird. So I saw the picture and was like 'omg Harris Hawk!'
The Peregrine falcon, for reference, looks like this: [link] They're very blue-grey and stripey.
