Description
The last in the current tree series...this was the banks of the canal taken this winter past, in our village. The level of snowfall was a little more than usual. Taken on the same day as [link]FULL VIEW is recommended as this is not a black and white photo- colour becomes apparent in full view mode

Apparently one of the effects of rising temperatures is that the UK will get colder.

supposedly, except everything is about 1 degree above average at the moment

Once the Gulf stream warms a little more it will head slightly further north and miss the British Isles. It will also cause more melting in the Arctic which means more cold water will head south. There goes the fledgling English wine industry!

thanks, I love snow- this was the first time in 10 years that I had the chance to actually go out in our village, whilst it was snowing to take photographs of a half decent snowfall

no, it is now the beginning of summer (I am in England and so is the photo), this was taken last winter

I did take a few, but it was actually snowing at the time I took this photo and the visibility was rather poor so the reflections weren't too great..mores the pity
