thanks ..yes it really captivated us- just a little too deep to take the car through the ford though- had to turn around, but it was worth it

Well Done. I was there two weeks ago and took loads of shots but got nothing of value.
Nice one.

hmm, my poor communication...near Chris down in Exeter....its in Devon or thereabouts....
thanks Michael..its worth the drive to go and see it...its a ford but I am afraid too deep for an ordinary car to go through. Definitely needs a four by four

the far side is a little bit overexposured, but i do understand that if you speed up the shutter speed, it would make the front side underexposured. But it's still nice though, nice prespective and composition, and beautiful place as usual

..you are right..the sun was very low as it was nearing sunset, so this was the best compromise

Very well composed and exposed, only a tiny little bit of burn but, still a great photograph.

yup, that burn is irritating but the stark contrasts in the early evening made this quite tricky to get a correct exposure without a tripod..:thanks

yes, it was around sunset time and the last of the evening sun was provided an interesting backlighting..this of course is the reason for the slight burnt bit that I couldnt get rid of
