That's what it looked like in the pic you gave me, [link] , though I thought they were some combination between veins and tatoos or something. I can recolor them if you want, what color did you have in mind? Are they all supposed to be the same color?

Well, I was trying to imitate *SeriojaInc 's style a bit (eg [link] ). What I did was (and I'll be sure to explain/demonstrate this in the tutorial since you asked ) I started by coloring the shiny bits a solid light green, so there's the light green shiny part and then the usual green for the sword, I then made a path out of the light green part and then stroked it with the airbrush tool a few times (twice with a 25px brush, then twice with a 50px brush, then doubled the layer).

So pretty much: fill to-be shiny region with light green using the dump bucket tool, then use the airbrush along the outline of the light green region to attain glow.

hehe cool (i think maybe that seriojainc person just had those spots white and had the outer glow affect on the layer they were on,....possiblely )

hmm well im not quite sure if its the glowy thing but i remember hearing about how uses the glow effect for alot of his drawings, somewhere in some forums maybe....

You mean like [link] ? Looks alot like an airbrush below the solid color layers. If you look at the top left wing near the brown spikes all the green glow peaks look like they end in semi-circles of the same size, one of the signs of an airbrush. And the demon's eye looks like it has the effect, and like you said, it looks like a solid white with a green outer-glow or green air brush on a lower layer...

Those look pretty good , the first is very nearly the effect I used on the Demon Hunter except the glow was the same color as the fill. I think if you combine the first (light inner glow) and the third (outer glow with white inside, also the third seems to have an odd second outline of green) you've got artistic gold : [link] ?
