So this is another take on: . Second attempt on Dr Horrible's part to steal the TARDIS. Oh what trouble he would get into with that thing! Not the best scan ever. Maybe I will rescan it later and edit.
Doctor Who is (c) BBC and Dr Horrible is (C) Joss Whedon.

I guess I could email it. I drew it at work today. Jayne is pointing two guns at Dr. Horrible, who has his freeze ray pointed right back
Jayne: Where'd you git such a fancified gun as that'n?
Dr. Horrible: This isn't any ordinary gun. I made it. It's my freeze ray!
Jayne: That's gorram nice!
Dr. Horrible: Thanks.
The dialogue is a little sad but the image some how makes it work I think. I will scan it in on my day off on Saturday and put the line art up here. If you give me your email I can email it to you.

Aren't we all though? No matter how I try not to be busy, and even when I am not doing anything I am still some kind of busy. There is still something I should be doing or am putting off. So I always feel busy.

Ugh! I am sorry. School was hell for me and I am glad it's over. Of course the stress of having too much to do and too little time to do it in never fades away. Now I got to revamp my resume and find a new job before I get laid off, I have got some art pieces I have to finish for friends, a project that a friend and I are doing that I should be 3 or 4 pages into now but haven't even started, and tons of cleaning to do. I have also promised to move over to my apartment the old stuff from my parent's house but have yet to find the time to do it or the space to put it.
I hope you get your assignments and essays and projects/speeches done on time. I hope your exams don't suck. And I hope they are at least some-what fun.

You know Hamlet is my favourite Shakespeare play. If I had read it or seen it recently I would offer to help. Mostly I remember my English teacher telling us he was pretending to be insane and that he is a notoriously hard character to play correctly. I do remember thinking he wasn't pretending to be insane, but was rather depressed and acting out on his impulses, therefore appearing insane to others. Of course I haven't read or seen the play in like 7 years so I can't say any thing I remember is all that accurate.
I wish I could help you understand Shakespeare's way of writing. It's a lot easier to understand what the words mean when you see the plays acted out, assuming the actors have any idea what the words mean. I didn't know there were so many gay jokes in Romeo and Juliette until I saw the play. His stuff is meant to be seen, not read.

sorry, its like a good play to read and watch, but to write about it just is hard >.Yeah, we have to like respond to an question its like "Hamlet portrayal of him being mad is so convincing that the audience actually thinks that he has slipped into madness, does this explain his actions?" or something like that and it must be persuasive, which is even worse for me
Thanks *hugs* but i am just winging it, remembering all the research i did on decoding the words

Oh I know. I remember trying to write about it and finding it hard to get as long an essay as my teacher wanted. And then she'd mark me bad because she disagreed with me. >.< That question sounds like the teacher is just making something up for you do to. I hated that in school. I wish you luck, or "break-a-leg", since it's at least about something theatrical.

I think every school system has is bad points, and school in general, while being a necessary part of life, is still very much hell and a half.
At least it ends at some point, and for the most part work life isn't as hard in all the same ways, though every now and again I find myself in a situation that can only be explained by my theory that some people never mature past high school.

Australian school system is like super bad (well my state school system) its just we get given these stupid subjects, like uuhhhh english last year, we had to do an unit on 'deadly urna' which is an book, and we had to write a letter to one of the characters. And our state is like behind three grades.
Thank god! I want to go to university the year after next year, because i am going over to america next year and i wanna go to comic con, save some money for that

I had assignments like that in English. And they always made us read the most boring books, or the most depressing ones. Like Ordinary People. We read that and watched the movie, right after reading and watching Death of a Salesman. I wondered if they wanted to make us kill ourselves. Both of those stories were about depression and suicide and they made the whole class sobby and depresses for like 3 months.
LOL I would LOVE to have enough money to go to ComicCon. If you ever want to see Canada (or at least my chunk of it) I have a couch you can surf, of course I am in Winnipeg so the only time to come here is the summer, other wise there would be little for you to do.

dude yeah, the books they make us read are so boring! This book was about some football players and these 16 year old kids robbing this bar in the outback and the main star of that football club getting killed in said robbery. The movie made me cry
I am going next year! I cannot wait! I wanna see Canada! It looks so pretty! Buuuuuuuuuut i am a pansy, and i am from northern Australia, which means I am used to the heat and not the coldness XD

Then summer is the way to go. 'Cuz if you come here in winter you'll want a good parka and stuff, and to dress in layers. We can get pretty hot here in Winnipeg in the summer, though this year it's been cool and rainy mostly, but I am sure that our hot isn't anything compared to yours.

kaijuart In reply to ParallelPenguins [2010-08-20 05:20:20 +0000 UTC]
Everywhere gets hot in the summer, even down south. But the coldest i can handle is 14 degrees C. If you get heat stroke easily I would suggest winter
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
ParallelPenguins In reply to kaijuart [2010-08-31 06:24:51 +0000 UTC]
Well we can get as cold as -40c here, though usually in winter we hover in the -20c's. Granted it's illegal to turn off any person's or company's heat in winter here, even if they don't pay the bill. So it's always warm inside.
Yeah I guess you'd have to come here in our summer some time and I'd have to go there in your winter, 'cuz if +14c is your coldest, well that's a warm spring day for me. That's actually a great temperature, not too hot, not too cold. +25c is too hot for me and I spend the whole day in front of the air conditioner.

Holy cow! Well I could come there and handle it for a short time, with lots of water and a wide brimmed hat and many many indoor breaks. I pass out easily when it's sunny and even easier when it's hot.
Considering I get my aversion to hot sunny days from my Mother's side of the family and it's my Great Aunt on her side that lives in Australia... I dunno how she does it.

LOL oh man I haven't been to a beach since... geez I think never. My family isn't the "let's go to the lake this weekend" family. It's the "wanna watch star trek and play tetris" family.
So you live in the northern part of Australia? I thought there wasn't a lot up there. At least there's only ever one city on any map I see. I always wondered why there aren't more towns there. Is there some reason that area of Australia is harder to get to?

kaijuart In reply to ParallelPenguins [2010-08-31 08:10:51 +0000 UTC]
XD same here.... well me anyways
Umm yeah there are a few towns, like small towns, but there are like a few large cities on the eastern coast. There are not many towns up here because every summer it floods majorly every year.

ParallelPenguins In reply to kaijuart [2010-08-31 08:14:40 +0000 UTC]
Ah. I guess that makes sense, though we flood every spring. You may have heard of the flood we had in '97. That was the biggest in the last century. But our city has a flood-way dug. It's a huge long diversion that has gates on it so when we open them it diverts some of the water from the river around the city so that we don't flood in the city. Only thing that sucks about that is that it floods a bunch of farms and the city has to pay out for the lost crops and/or property. Though the floods there must be pretty bad if it's that much of a deterrent to people living there. Which sucks, I am sorry.

Whoa! Cool. Since I am in the middle of the continent I don't have to worry about cyclones or hurricanes or any of that. We do get the odd tornado but they never come into the city, or at least they haven't yet. They always skirt around it. I wonder why that is...
