Description
My Tumblr: [link]I went on a trip in April to visit my friend along with my friend . ~YunaHellsing 's parents were so awesome to put us up. I loved the entire time I was there.
Well, ~YunaHellsing and her family just happen to be big Whovians so I drew them this little thing while I was there as a gift for putting up with me and *phynix for two whole weeks. I miss them all so much now.
I hope they like the pic as much as I liked making it, considering I had to hog there interwebs in order to get enough reference. Can't be 100% sure about the first doctor's colours but that is how they coloured him for the action figure they put out at some point so it will have to do. I don't quite know enough about every single Doctor in order to have gotten their personalities perfect in this, but I hope I am not too far off.
This was a whole lot of fun to draw. I might wanna try it again.
[EDIT] Holy COW! *Squee!* THANK YOU ALL for all the
THANK YOU!

Holy crap! I never knew you drew all of the doctors in one picture. Either that or I did, I commented and I forgot I did. LOL I do that a lot.
Awesome job on the picture with all of them!
Are you in the Winnipeg Dr Who fanclub? If I was able to go to Comic Con I would have jumped in and joined right there and marveled over the figurines and pieces of Tardis. TAT

Yeah! Me too! I couldn't get the time off either but a friend of mine posted his pictures on facebook and told me that "yeah the Dr Who fanclub was there". EVIL! The year that everything there rawks like hard is when I'm freaking working... again. FML! I am so bitter about work. Not only do I work Halloween but Rememberance Day too. This blows.
WEEE!!! Me neither! I've missed so much! I need to catch up real fast!

ParallelPenguins In reply to Grim-away [2010-11-09 18:34:29 +0000 UTC]
I know! Isn't that always the way of things? When I go it's either boring or just okay. When I don't go it would have been the time of my life and I missed out because of work or I was sick or what ever. FML too!
I have to work remembrance day too but I get paid time and a half for the day and I got today off as a stat so it's like getting paid double time and a half. They did that for most of the full timers. I guess they figure they have screwed them selves in laying so many people off because now that we need them they can't get them back. So they have to make do with what they have and they better keep us happy or they will loose the whole small handful of us that is left. Serves them right. Only thing that sucks bad about that is that WE are the ones suffering with the horrible call volumes and pissed off callers because they had to wait 20 minutes to talk to some one. Management never has to deal with that. So in the end they screw up and we take the shit and they are giving us stats but making us work the 11th so we essentially get double time and a half only because the want us to think they are being nice. Fuck them. If I weren't one of two shop stewards left I would be out of this place. But some one has to be there to fight the system for the people getting screwed by it... ugh!

YEAH! Although if I'm sick, I still go. I'm always sick so meh. I'd puke somewhere but at least I went, that's what I tell myself. God I hate working late nights on weekends. I can't have any fun anymore, but it's not like people will miss me. When I go to these things I'm usually ignored in the corner.
I got Monday off and I work Rememberance Day. I don't think I get time and a half though. My paycheck will tell me.
Geeezuz. What the hell. Some companies have the nerve. This week we all have to wear collared shirts and use the verbage "Have I assisted your needs today? Are you happy with the service that you have received?" Even though I've argued about the redundancy of that sentence, if I don't use it, I get penialized.
Life sucks Godzirra balls and that's the end of it. When the Zombies take over the world I will be more then glad to put a bullet in most of the heads of these people.
I agree! Someone has to fight the system!

I don't go when I am sick. I am the Health and Safety chair. That would be really bad.
LOL yeah just about everything at work sucks Gojira balls. And that's saying something! Why must I work 8 hours a day 5 days a week for shit pay at a place that barely even sees me let alone thinks about me only to come home and be the one to take care of two men who don't think of any one other then themselves? What the fuck? The room mate complained about the cleanliness of the apartment to me a month ago and all he's done since is the dishes twice (with out putting them away when they are dry). My boyfriend just leaves his shit anywhere and I have maybe 3 hours a day to myself if I am lucky and I am supposed to spend it picking up after them? No one else has scrubbed the floor or the bathroom. No one else ever wipes down the stove. Just me. And *I* am the one that paid off our hydro bill and keeps up payments on the cable bill. >_< Ugh!
Why is it that in any group of people if there is even just one girl she has to take care of everyone else? WFT?

Oh man. I agree. Though when I make anything I'm told to stop. XD I can't cook to save my life. LMAO make some shit pasta or something with soya milk and they'll take over. I live with a dude now too. It's hard. It really is. Though I don't get where this female thing comes from. I don't dress like one.
I wish I could take a sick day. We're told we can't take sick days on certain days or we'll be investigated.

I don't cook half bad I am told. I don't know what the male excuse is for not picking up after themselves but I swear if my other half doesn't start I am gonna throw all his shit out.
That's ridiculous. They can't stop you from taking a sick day. They can ask for a sick note but they can't STOP you from taking a sick day. I mean geez. If you are sick you are sick. ARGH that pisses me off. My mother works there in PCH and she used to have a WHOLE bunch of issues before she was transfered. Now she seems much happier, since she isn't working with that asshole who was her team lead. That ass needs to be fired.

Grim-away In reply to ParallelPenguins [2010-11-30 23:36:10 +0000 UTC]
Meh I hate cooking. Anything to get out of it XD
I tried to. I couldn't call in sick at all on Sunday. Their lines weren't working and I have 4 witnesses that it didn't work so it isn't my phone. They said "it sounded like you had more ways to contact us". They wanted me to contact them on my day off to apologize to them for not calling in as I had a chance to redeem myself. Bullfuckingshit. I am so stressed it's reached insane capacities where I just want to break down and cry.
I'm not feeling well today. Dry throat, dry cough, puking while I'm on the phones, they won't let me go home.
Looks like it's time for me to report this to Workers Comp... again. These people should be put under for the shit they put us through.
I said I didn't want to call yesterday because I was pissed off and I wasn't home all day. If I did call in I would be shouting. The things I would have said would have gotten me fired right there and I thought it was unprofessional to fire someone over the phone as the message left was unprofessional.
I'm sick today. I can't go home.
This is a living nightmare.

I actually enjoy cooking, so long as I don't have to do it the second I get home from work.
That does sound like BS! How can they do that? Seriously if their lines are so busy you can't call in then how is that your fault if you can't go in? ARGH!
I hope you feel better. Sounds like it sucks donkey balls. Even if you can't stay home from work take care of yourself some how. You know the one time my work told me I had to come in because I didn't have sick hours and they didn't believe I was sick (they asked for a note and I told them I had one for the previous day and I wasn't going to sit in the doctor office for another 8 hours when one note proving I was sick should be good enough) I went in, gave them the note for the previous day. They took one look at me and told me to go home, that I looked like shit and the finally believed me. They haven't denied me calling in sick since.
Denying calling in sick is just pure BS.

Grim-away In reply to ParallelPenguins [2010-12-01 05:24:57 +0000 UTC]
Yeah cuz the second I get home from work... I want to kick stuff. Then my cat starts asking me how my day went and I cool down a little.
That was my argument but then they said I should have called in to wipe my slate clean. My roomie said that I should say I wasn't home. So I said I wasn't home. He said he would vouch for me. He did. But I still said I wasn't home to get that message because Monday was my day off. They said I should have worked that day since I was sick. F*ck em. I'm calling in sick tomorrow.
I never look like I'm sick. I'm a cosplayer though, I can MAKE myself look sick through the miracles of make up but seriously... if I'm sick it's because my knees hurt, my arthritis is acting up, I had an asthma attack, I'm puking, my eyes hurt and I have a migrane.
I've seen people get sent home from just having a migrane. I've fallen asleep at work before and been denied hometime. The amount of fairness in this building is severely lacking and I demand my sick day.
Basically what they did, since I asked for 2 weeks of vacation, they took my sick days, my paid vacation days, my personal days and added them up for the 2 weeks. So I don't get any additional days off. Which is absolute BS.
This whole crap here is BS. This company is BS. I'm ranting again XD I've already made a journal of all of the emails they've sent me. I usually get about 3 reminders about how much of a horrible worker I am. "Call times", "ACW" and "Log In Time". They want me to log into the computers, set everything up 15 mins prior to my shift without extra pay. BS I'm not doing that on Minimum wage.

You can always drop off a resume. I don't know if we are hiring now or not. I know we were a month ago and we still need people for evenings and weekends so we should still be... but management doesn't think like we do on the floor. They see only dollar signs, I see people who need breaks.

How late to people work on the evening shift? I usually don't like working my entire evening. I actually like to do stuff. This place doesn't think I deserve a personal life. Seriously. Christmas Eve, Christmas, Boxing day, New Years Eve AND New Years? It's like they've snatched away my right to have a life outside of work.
Which is why I was 2 hours late today. Just put money in my account to buy shoes for my doll... that isn't here yet, XD Shame on me!

At my work the evening shift usually starts any time noon or later and ends any time 8:30pm to 11:30pm.
Oh man no job thinks you deserve a personal life. If that were the case the standard work day would be a 5 or 6 hour shift and no more.

I know how you feel. I went crazy looking for the TV remote. He was sitting on it. Under his chubnest I also found my screwdriver, my .03 mechanical pencil and a chewed up eraser. Dexter has a thing for plastic, styrofoam, erasers and elastic. I'm sure you'll find your camera! Couldn't have gone far, right?

Right. Abu likes to chew cardboard and chase fridge magnets.
She went after my pencils and erasers once. I smucked her bum and tossed her across the floor. She hasn't touched them since. I wish that worked for keeping her out from behind the TV.

I only smack Dexters chubby caboose when his claws hook into my ear, he bites me or scratches me when I'm sleeping. I gotta trim his claws but I don't want to hurt him. The erasers I buy are cheap so I just move them away from Dex.
I really don't think he's dumb enough to chew on the inking pens. I keep them in my pencil bag. Just in case he has a kittytantrum.

Ah well, Abu had to learn I wouldn't stand by and let her chew up my art supplies. My slurpee straws, sure, but my pencils and erasers, hell no. The erasers may be cheap but if I had to buy a new one every day 'cuz she kept eating them, they wouldn't be anymore.
She hasn't touched my markers or pens though. I think she just likes the feel and taste of the erasers, weird as that is.

Nah my cat would eat the eraser if she could. She tears up cardboard boxes. There's a mess of bits of cardboard for me to sweep up at least once a week. Still no one puts me to sleep like her. She comes in to my room at bedtime and curls up on my chest and purrs every night. That makes me forgive everything.

LOL Oh I am sorry, thankfully Abu is not in to Styrofoam. Little pieces of white everywhere would almost be more annoying to me then little pieces of corrugated cardboard.
Your cat sounds adorable. ^_^
Hey... does he scratch at windows? Abu does and I have no clue why or how to deter her from it.

Yup and it really is. Dexter loves those packing peanuts.
Drives me mad picking all that crap up.
Awww Dexter is really adorable.
It's weird because I know when my stress is getting to him.
I may not outwardly express my insanity with being jobless, hating my job, my life going to hell but all of it can be seen if you look at my Cat's backside. He balds when I'm stressed. XD It's weird. He's like that other appendage of mine that I've
been missing.
I've got to tell people, please look at him as if you would look at another arm of mine.
Nah, he actually runs away from windows. Dexter is a western farm cat. He's not used to so much snow nor is he used to the cold. So he keeps far from the windows. I open the drapes and he runs under my bed.

ParallelPenguins In reply to Grim-away [2011-02-02 18:32:28 +0000 UTC]
Abu reacts to what I am feeling too. If I am sick or in pain she mews at me in a worried tone and comes to curl up near me and kneads my leg gently like she's trying to cheer me up. If I am angry she gives me this really confused and worried look and kind of cowers in a corner. And when I come home she is waiting at the door and meowing like she wants to know how my day was and why I was gone for so long. If she curls up with me on the couch while I am watching something she puts me to sleep before I know it.
I think she wants out and that's why she scratches but I took her outside once and she didn't like it. She likes grass but not snow, and she gets all curious and then a car goes by or something loud happens and she jumps and is all uncomfortable looking for cover. Maybe she keeps forgetting she didn't like it. I don't want to let her out with out being on a leash and only as a treat though because I don't want her to come back with fleas or ticks or having been in a fight with another cat and needing stitches.
