Description Fire burns.
Around and in my soul.
Heating the icicles
who have long taken residence in my heart.
The effluent begins to seep
into the crevices of my being,
For a moment easing the tension
but then simply adding,
to my constant state of panic
and fear of what is to come.
What if i drown in the water?
What if I am burned in the flames?
