Since simple things seem to fly over people's heads: The point of this stamp is because stupid people believe that a large apex predator (wolves in this case) would never attack, kill and consume fangless, clawless, hornless, fleshy humans.

"HOOMANS HAVE KILL'D HOOMANS!" No fucking shit, Sherlock. Would you like to point out more obvious things?

Places like Europe have a lower wolf attack rate and they are still killed en mass.

Wolves are protected under theΒ Berne Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife. They are not killed "en mass".

It's also stated 99% of wolf attacks are human provoked, as in humans threatened the animal or invaded their territories where they raise their young.

Stated by who? Do you have a link to the 99% figure?

So have mice, deer, zebras, literally any animal can kill be it their own means or disease, doesnt mean we should hate and kill every animal in sight.

Well you just admit that you acknowledged that all animals, even humans can be dangerous, so why do you only care about wolves murdering people? Why not lion attacks, or bear attacks, dog attacks, mountain lion attacks, or serial rapists? Why are you obsessed with just wolves?

This is in Anti-Wolf, why am I not surprised? They say they don't hate wolves and then several other times they have admitted that they do, and that they're aware that dogs are wolves too, but since they're domesticated that only they're okay. I thought that group got banned?

Most wolves are scared of humans anyways and they have only attacked/killed people because they were intruding their territory.
We humans are filled with nasty parasites lol.

Anyways, there is no denying in wolves killing people, but animals like hippos, cows and rhinos are way more dangerous and have killed a shit ton more people than wolves, sharks and tigers.

they have only attacked/killed people because they were intruding their territory.

Most cases of wolves killing people involved wolves entering pastures, landfills or villages. Also, the victims were stalked and eaten. That isn't the behaviour of an animal acting territorially.

Doggutsz In reply to Dark-Hyena [2018-08-28 13:23:36 +0000 UTC]

If you want to be more specific: It indeed depends on the wolf, just like humans. I said most wolves, please use that when you quote me next time
There are indeed factors like: Diseases, mental health, carrying a certain smell, hostile behavior against wolves (they won't forget you)

But a wolf attacking someone for no reason is rare, if it were to happen, I hope you have a gun with you.

Dark-Hyena In reply to Doggutsz [2018-08-28 14:56:07 +0000 UTC]

Funny how none of the reasons you list include simply being hungry and taking advantage of a new food source.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Doggutsz In reply to Dark-Hyena [2018-08-28 15:06:25 +0000 UTC]

Funny how most animals don't eat humans and you aren't aware of that. It does happen indeed, but rarely.

Also I've said ''having a certain smell'', which can be implied that you are carrying a smell around that can get the wolves hungry or become territorial. I also said etc, because I don't feel like I need to explain every single reason why wolf attacks can happen.

I'm sorry I have to be extremely specific for you in order to understand my point. I expected more from someone like you.
Now excuse me, we can discuss this further via note if you'd like, but I'm here to look at art and not have a public fuss on why wolves kill or don't kill.

True, true. But I like to be open to other reasons. Wolves have been taught to fear Humans...or they learned.
And when they're defending their territory or are aggressive. Let's not forget Dystemper is a virus that causes wild animals to no longer fear us.

In some places, it could be the opposite, but I will need to more research.

My state is considering bringing wolves back, but some ranchers are worried they might take advantage of livestock because it's been a problem in some states with wolves.
