I'm just the kid from 44th St.Sitting down on the old 48th St. Bridge
Listining to the speed of the cars
And wondering why nobody walks anymore
The wheels keep turning
The gas keeps burning
And the butter is churning
In the Drive-Thru Lane
My thoughts keep overlaping themselves
Cars, Snow and Dreaming Fast-Food
No meter in words but all through my brain
These patterns never seem to change
And I'm still just the kid from 44th St.
Sitting down on the old 48th St. Bridge
Listining as the speed of the cars slows down
"Mother Earth" must have ran out of gas

i understand what you are speaking about, the flow is a bit interupted for some reason. not sure why.. becasue it is very well written.

whoa i like it. i don't necessarily like the end, but other than that it's good. it sounds like a bright eyes song to me. {THAT IS A GOOD THING- I LOVE THEM}
