A weary cold diatribe
Dripping with morbid humor

And #1’s beautiful prize
Please take back this lawn mower love
And ceramic covered kiss
That they ripen with their red ribbon bows
An airbrushed game show reality magnified
Has no more security
Than the unfortified walls
That invisible line blurred between fact and fiction

I want to feel the hug you sent
Through Teddy Bear Telegraph

Did you get the love I sent back?
I couldn’t have hugged any tighter

I want you to comprehend

I added you to my watch awhile back but haven't had the time to comment... so now I am! This is my favorite of your stuff... It's really well done. I love your style, and the description, like "airbrushed gameshow". I thought that was really cool for some reason. I'm wondering, why did you say "2,1,3" instead of "1,2,3"? Anyways, this is amazing. Nice work.

I was wondering if anyone would comment on those things. About the "2,1,3"...the line right before it says "I want you to comprehend." Its just touching on how complicated the inner workings of anyone's, specifically my, emotions are. Thank you for your kind words.

a very interesting poem with a beautiful ending. i like the first two lines, and the last two paragraphs the best. i think it is a lovely poem. nice.. very nice. stay safe and a merry MERRY christmas. it makes me think and feel.

Hey, thanks! I thought it was fitting since the holiday season is fast approaching. I almost feel like the part about me giving my own eulogy almost doesn't fit...I guess It shows my random brain...ugghh...I guess I'm my own worst critic. Perfectionism tells me to second guess my best efforts and sometimes I just want to delete it all ya know? Well I hope you have a Happy Christmas and a Very Merry New Year!
