Yes, 20 years, it was the early days of the first PlayStation, in 1995 the first "Battle arena Toshinden"-game came out (Sofia was very briefly a sort of mascot for the PSX), by 1998 the series was pretty much over though, "Soul edge", "Dead or alive" and "Tekken" got more popular in the 3D-fighting niche, and now the only thing people remember "Battle arena Toshinden" for is "Oh yeah! I used to play that once!"
