"Aww"some picture! Get it, get it? ~Nudge nudge~ It's funny! No? You're right.
I feel sorry for this little guy, but it's nothing compared to what my cat (Knuckles) has. Well, he's not so much mine as just this stray that showed up one day and adopted me. Anyway, he's missing almost his entire right cheek, most of his teeth and seems to have a broken paw and some damaged ribs as well. We've tried taking him to a vet, but, we can't pick him up because his ribs hurt when we try, and drugging him didn't work- he just wandered off and fell asleep on an air conditioner four buildings away. He just shows up a few times a week wraps himself around my legs when I'm in the kitchen and lets me pet him and feed him. We've tried calling the vet home to see him, but the guy never showed up and oh my God, this started out as an appreciative comment with a bad pun and has turned into a ramble!
Apologies. I'll shut up now.

Haha thanks!! I always appreciate when people comment about their own stories because it makes me feel like we're friends wow poor little kitty. My cat is always fighting the other cats in our neighborhood. Luckily he has always healed

aw, poor little one. My baby TC comes home with scratches on him a lot too- he's declawed, so I'm always so worried. Surprisingly, he holds his own very good in a fight XD

He is declawed and you let him out to fend for himself ??? I hope you realize that is just plain cruel.

Also, I'd like to have you know, I fend for him. I beat off a bull dog that killed the neighbors chihuahua with a stick. And I made sure not to hurt the damned dog too. NO. FRIGGING. CLUE.

Was the dog in your house?

I wasn't attempting to throw stones, i am by no means the perfect pet owner. I was merely tryin to say that an unclawed cat being outdoors is not a good thing, and you know damn well it isn't. So if you wanna fling some words, i'm game.

Plug up whatever escape route he is taking. I will commend you on not being the one who decided to declaw (cuz i personally think declawing is selfish shit) him and i will commend you on protecting your cat from a dog and i also commend you for attempting to not harm the dog because the dog was merely doing what most dogs do. A cat "escaping" is a possibility i will give you that, but if it escapes through the same exit numberous times, then i'd say that you are not solving the problem. I may not be a lady but i am indeed a "crazy cat person" and that is why we are coming to blows here. Keep your cat indoors if it is declawed. Get mad at me all you want but when the time comes that the neighborhood bully dog gets hold of him when you are unable to defend him or heaven forbid you actually witness your baby get torn to shreds right in front of you, and you end up having to pick up ripped pieces of him you can simply get mad at yourself. And dogs are not the only problem, there is always a bigger badder cat possibility and if you are the cat lady you claim to be, then you would have no doubt witnessed a cat fight before and know that they are an extremely violent thing. Add to that the one of the contenders has no proper way of defending himself and the whole scuffle becomes much more heart-wrenching. Get off your high horse and do right by your baby.

OOOH, YOU DID NOT JUST TELL ME ABOUT MY CAT. DUDE, that thing is my frigging son. There is no way to keep him inside, he knows how to escape. And don't you DARE try to set me up as being 'cruel'. It wasn't my decision to get him declawed, so you can blow it out your nose.

DON'T EVER say somethng like that to a crazy cat lady.

I didn't come to da to make enemies so i will apologize for speaking harshly to you. But i am indeed a huge fan of cats and the thought of an unclawed cat being outdoors (and especially after hearing a story of his near demise by a dog that has already killed another animal) just pisses me off, i'm sorry but it does. I do not feel out of line in the least. But again, i am sorry for being so harsh towards you.

eh, I summoned up a lot of anger I didn't really have to write that, just for the sake of being tired and frustrated with people on the internet butting in. Frankly, I don't care what you say- not to be rude, but in all honesty, it's not like you know the whole situation. I sit out and watch him when he goes out. We live in the suburbs of a town of barely 6,000. Almost every dog who lives here also lives with a cat, and the neighbor who owns the dog (which I am really tempted to call animal control on, if only our town HAD animal control) has an agreement with me to keep her dog in when TC is out. And the only time our road is ever used is when school gets out ever day around 3, so I've pretty much regulated when he can go out.

Calliope is the bravest cat i have ever met. He has chased a fox out of our yard. I guess he is very territorial though. He doesn't get along with other cats (besides Cuddles who I also have pictures of in my gallery) and comes home all scratched up. He is clawed though.

cool XD I love how cats think they rule everything, it's quite an admirable trait for their size.

I know. no matter how much we try to control them they always come out the rulers in the end.

Oh, poor kitty. I really like the colors: the colors of the leaves kind of match or compliment the colors of the cat
