  With a very rapid advance followed by a powerful kick, Shadow struck Tails's arm that hit the ground and violently slid to the end of the hall. You could listen the sounds of bones breaking and, soon after, a long scream that seemed to be more of anger than pain. The fox left a trail on the ground that went to the room of emeralds. Tails could barely stand, was badly injured and had a broken arm... The pain was unbearable.

Tails: Argh... I can't let this happen... I'll promise to You… Cough… Cough…

  That's when He looked around and saw some Emeralds on the floor, along with his fallen friend. Tails began to stagger toward the jewels, He knew they were his only salvation in that moment.

Tails: Move It... Come on legs... Move again...

  The fox begged of breathless way to your own body.

  Shadow was still in the hallway, walking towards the room without haste. He was already convinced He has won the fight with that blow. When He reached the front door He saw through the smoke a diffused light and the figure of two tails that still swinging through the air.

Shadow: Hmph... You may still are awake, but You're already finished…
Tails: Chaos Emeralds, answer to my feelings... I'm not so strong... But... But my feelings are !!
Shadow: It seems that your friend has taught You a few things... However... - He started walking toward Tails -  No matter what It is, You cannot do anything against me !
Tails: ...I need to move on, and for this I need your power...

  The smoke has expanded, away from Tails, along with a strong hot wind, was when the hedgehog saw that the fox was holding not one, but three Chaos Emeralds. The energy seemed to grow out of control, surrounding the fox and bumping around the ground. There was no way to get close...

Shadow: You fool ! what You think You're doing with these three Chaos Emeralds! You will blow up yourself!
Tails: Sonic... I'm sorry... Chaaaaosss… Controool !!!

  A bright light appeared, by taking much of the room. When Shadow opened his eyes, He realized it was too late. Tails was gone, taking with him a good part of the room due to the large amount of energy used.

Shadow: Look at that... That kid used three emeralds at once to cause a Chaos Control... Not only that, but the fact He think He can run away from me shows how naive He is still... I'm coming for You Tails...
