A concept sketch/painting for the next Epexsus comic volume: "Makota's Training Days"

This is Makota, with a large man named Cain, who gets introduced in the comic.

Cain's possibly the nicest, biggest and strongest guy you'll meet in all of Epexsus. Although he doesn't get out much and he's not super bright, like at all... he'll take any opportunity he can to make a new friend. This is him picking up Makota to take him to a place that will also be introduced in the comic! (it will also explain why Makota's practically half-naked here.)

I'm only working on writing this comic right now though, don't worry. Still using most of my free creative time to work on Episode 2 and get it all finished up. This is like my second or third full colored illustration in Paint Tool Sai, I'm still majorly testing new waters here though, doing the line art was straightforward and fun, but painting the background was an adventure all on it's own. Gotta start somewhere though eh?
