Entering the contest now : D here's the template, hopefully it's good improvement.. it's... 6 years anyway. Whoa.Somehow I feel like I would have expected more improvement for 6 long years... but oh well.
I also tried using the very same media and tools I used back then, even some of the same pencils too.

Encuentro que el mayor cambio, no solo en este dibujo, sino comparando toda tu galerΓa, es el sentimiento, el segundo se "siente" mucho mΓ‘s alegre y tranquilo. Mejoraste algo aΓΊn mejor que tΓ©cnicas o estilo, tu estado anΓmico. Sigue asΓ!

Well, it's easy to see the technical improvement; lines are cleaner and shapes better defined, the use of color has improved... but your "poetic talent" was always great, imo. Both versions have merit, in their own way.
I'd say the two images have very different moods though. The first has this overwhelming melancholy, while the seconds seems lighter somehow. It's something to do with the "pose" of the character in the second rendition, with her arms up and upright posture. The first one, looking down, seems sadder. It's kind of hard to "compare" them actually... they really feel like very different moments in the characters life. Perhaps a reflection of the changes in your own life? Or... maybe I'm reading too much into it, hehehe. Λ_Λ'

Thanks a lot, yeah they do have different moods, I changed some things without really thinking about it, like the expression (both face and body) and the composition... after all, then, they give two different purposes.. hehe, thank you! but yeah they kinda reflect something about my own life too xD

There's a lot of improvement from what I can see. Your colouring for one has improved a lot, and your lines are more refined now. Your style, though thankfully still similar, has matured along with you. Everything looks a lot cleaner now, though I suppose 6 years ago you was a darker, at least artistically, you and clean wasn't the aim. XD
Personally I think it's amazing how the redraw reflects how you have changed over the 6 years. Now that you have *Jumpix things aren't so dark and that definitely shows in the lighter, cleaner, fresher redraw. Though the dark, muted colours still reflect the darker side of you we all know and love.
