Entering the contest now : D here's the template, hopefully it's good improvement.. it's... 6 years anyway. Whoa.Somehow I feel like I would have expected more improvement for 6 long years... but oh well.
I also tried using the very same media and tools I used back then, even some of the same pencils too.

the second one is beautiful ^-^ i love the new color improvement and all- its more proportionate- skinier, although, I do believe a bit of the meaning was lost with it as well- there is a heavier focus on what is more pleasing to the eye and less on what is artistically original/creative >< Butbut! The second one shows a lot of new technique and good beauty as well. I've seen your other works and you are one of the most renaissance with the type of pieces you have so overall improvement yes- creativity- up it a notch and you'll be oki doki. Then again- an artists main goal should always be to create things more interesting/creative- myself included ewe

What? I see tons of improvement. There's more detail, the shadows and lighting show much improvement, and everything seems more clean and a little bit more three dimensional :3 Its amazing. Really beautiful

The new one shoes obvious improvements..like the hair on it is very pretty..and the apples are drawn nicely. but the first one i'd have to like better. it just draws me in with the expression of the girl. and i like the bordering of old more..so yea it's improved..but the old one had that feeling i liked.

i feel as though the composition of the previous one is a tad stronger than the newer version. granted i love everything else about the newer one but there's something about the older one that catches my eye more. hrmmm...

It's the composition and background.
It has more depth in the older one, and is more mysterious and eye catching.
In the newer one, the coloring/shading, anatomy and style improved in my opinion.

There is noticable improvement. The improvments are small bits here and there that help retain the feel of the older version but show growth in the newer version as if this were a person in real life growing and changing more into themselves and retaining who they are as a person. I noticed this all just with the girl...not even yet getting to the background. I love the differences in the apples. There is more expression in the newer version might I add.

This is really well done. I loved the original and I love the remake. But what I'm most impressed with is that you used the same stuff-even the pencils and the technique has really improved a lot. Keep up the awesome work Mr. Pairo!

Mmm... yo creo que si has mejorado mucho, Pairo.
Se nota un manejo mucho mayor de las proporciones y anatomía humana (dentro del contexto de una figura humana estilizada). También de las iluminaciones y sombras, además de la profundidad. La técnica también mejoró.
En resumen, la nueva versión es mucho más rica y compleja visualmente.
