You were sitting at home all cozy curled up on your sofa. It was late at night and you couldn't sleep. There was nothing on TV so you sat in utter silence. You closed your eyes and pictured sheep, then you began to count the fluffy pigments of your imagination. One sheep, two sheep, three sheep... RING RING! Your eyes flew open to the ringing of your home phone, forgetting the sheep you leaped for your phone thinking 'who would be calling at this late at night?' You picked up the receiver, "Hello?" you said into the phone "Yes hello, is this [Name] speaking?" a man said. You could hear music and people shouting in the background. "Yes it is, Who is this?" "This is Paul, I'm a bartender at [name of random bar] I have your friend here and he is reeeeeeeeally drunk" you sighed, he didn't even have to tell his name you already knew it was Denmark. That stupid Dane was always out drinking and getting drunk, but you loved him anyway. "Can you put him on?" "Yeah just a sec" while you waited you couldn't help but wonder were Norway was and why they didn't call him instead. Your thoughts were interrupted by a rather loud drunken Denmark. "Whatz sup [NNAAAMMMEEE]?" Denmark slurred into the phone. "Hi Denmark, were is Norway?" "Norway? *hic* he's outta *hic*town somewhere, I don't *hic* know. Can't member" "what a great help you are" you muttered under your breath. "All right fine, I will be there in five minutes to pick you up" " Ooookay" and with that you hung up. 'Denmark could be so irritating sometimes' you thought as you put your jacket on and grabbed your car keys. The car ride was quick with no traffic because of how late it was. You pulled into the parking lot and got out of the car. You could hear the blasting music and you weren't even inside yet. You walked in and instantly spotted Denmark sitting at the bar staring off into space. You walked over to him "Ready" you asked. Denmark jumped a bit "[NAAAAMMMMEEE] what are you*hic* doing here?!" He slurred excitedly as if he wasn't expecting you. "I told you I was coming to pick you up on the phone remember?" Denmark stopped and thought for a minute. " OOOOOOOh YEEAAAAHHHHH!" you rolled you eyes. "Come on" you motioned him to follow you. He stood up but when he took a step forward he wobbled and fell crashing to the floor. You let out a heavy sigh and draped one of his arms around you and picked him up. It was hard walking because Denmark was not light especially in his drunken state, but you were strong and managed to carry him to the car. The car ride home was a noisy one. The whole ride home Denmark rambled on about random things. You tuned him out and focused on getting home. Once you got home you helped him inside and to the couch. You dropped him on the couch and took a seat next to him. "hey [Name]?" Denmark asked. "hmm?" You turned to face him to find out that he was very close to you, a bit too close. He leaned toward you a bit more. His face was so close to yours, causeing a light blush to appear on your face. You could smell the alcohol from his breath. You scooted a bit back, but he just scooted more towards you. "Denmark you're a bit too clo-" you were cut off by Denmark's lips crashing into yours. He was kissing you! Wait? What? HE was Kissing you?! You placed your hands on his chest and pushed him away. Denmark pulled away. "I love you" he whispered as he leaned in for another kiss. "No!" you said stopping him. "Denmark your drunk. You don't actually mean that" You say tears starting to form in your eyes. "Yes I do! I love you!" Denmark insisted. "Stop. Tell me when you're sober, then I will believe you." You told him. "alright I will. I promise." "Ok now go to sleep" you said as you turned around and went up into your room. You lay on your bed. 'Does he really love me? I sure hope so, cause I love him' you thought as you slowly drifted off to sleep.
You woke up the next morning to birds chirping. You got up and went down the stairs to find Denmark fast asleep on the couch. He looked so peaceful when he slept. You walked over to him and shook his shoulder lightly. "Wake up sleepy head" Denmark opened his eyes sleepily. "Good morning" he mumbled. "Good morning..... Hey do you remember last night?" you asked hopefully. Denmark sat up. " I remember I went to the bar. That's about it." He replied as he rubbed his head. Your heart sank. 'he doesn't remember. I knew it was to good to be true.' You felt your eyes start to water and a need to just get out. "I-I just remembered I have to be somewhere right now" you said as you turned and ran out of your house tears freely flowing. You could hear Denmark shouting something but you just kept running. You ran to the park that was around the corner from your house. You sat on a bench, buried your head into your hands and cried. You heard footsteps coming toward you but you ignored them and continued to cry. "[Name]?" You looked up and came face to face with Denmark. "What's wrong? Did I do something last night?" He asked worried. You didn't answer, you just stood up and turned away from him. "[Name], Whatever I did last night I didn't mean." Denmark said turning you around so that you faced him. You just cried harder. " I'm sorry! I never meant to hurt the woman I love." You stopped crying and looked up him. Realizing what he just said his face turned bright red. "Well- I- I mean" he stuttered trying to recover. You silenced him with a kiss. He was stunned at first but he soon started to kiss back. He wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer to him and you wrapped your arms around his neck. The kiss was passionate and lasted until you both needed to breath. "I love you" Denmark whispered. "I love you too" then You leaned in and kissed him again.
