So, here's something a little different to what I tend to do. However, following more BIONICLE news being revealed at NYCC, I thought it'd be best to make the effort to do this.

So, back when BIONICLE was still going, my brother and I came up with the idea of our own Toa team. We came up with a general idea, but never expanded upon it when he left for the US. Shortly after he left, I went on to expand the idea for our team just a bit more, and came up with names for each member and their masks.

TOA DEHGURA (orange) - Toa of Iron and wore a Mask of Tracking, allowing him to locate any object in the known universe as long as he knew what it looked like.

TOA CAISA (blue) - Toa of Water who wore the Mask of Emotions, giving her the power to manipulate the emotions of anyone around her.

TOA GIIKE (green) - Toa of Air who got the Mask of Duplication, which allowed him to great up to 10 solid duplicates of any object, which would either eventually disappear over time or he made them disappear.

TOA AHNDU (red) - Toa of Fire and his Mask of Tactics, giving him visions and foresight on how to handle a situation and succeed.

TOA TULNII (yellow) - Toa of Psionics with the Mask of Prowess, which granted her expert fighting skills and reflexes which could surpass a Toa's normal abilities.

TOA ZYDO (white) - Toa of Ice with the Mask of Reflection Travel, giving him the ability to use reflective surfaces as portals for travel.

-- TOA MYNDOHPA (black) - Toa of Magnetism with the Mask of Aura Reading, allowing him the ability to see the strength and alignment of beings in forms of auras.

Back in 2012, I commissioned Tumblr user That-1-Cactus to draw some ideas for the masks of my team, and needless to say I think they did a fantastic job. The sketches you see behind the masks were the ones drawn by them. My drawings were an attempt to look at how the masks would look if they were part of an actual set. I hope I did them justice.

But, yeah: there may be more of these guys appearing in the near future, so be sure to keep an eye out for when they do.
