Description
Here we have the first of my original Power Ranger teams. The witchcraft and night themed Power Rangers: Lunar Strike!
Taking place in 2011, this team of witches and warlocks in-training use their dark magic to fight against a force of demonic creatures, bent on plunging the world into a never-ending nightmare. They also have to deal with a secret society of mages who come to purge the users of dark magic, which includes the rangers themselves.

Kind of reminds me of Mahou Sentai Magiranger in a way. Or Power Rangers Mystic Force if you want the U.S. one.

They both have dominantely black outfits, they look like they have the potential of being evil ranger outfits (especially the grey/red one), and the helmet of the grey one (who's name I just looked up) certainly reminds me of the Psycho Rangers (plus Robo Knight, who's helmet also looks somewhat similar)

I can see what you mean. Plus, that was kind of the idea with these guys, since they draw their power from an "evil" source but use their powers for good.

Well, it goes like this.
The demons attack both the rangers and the Mages Guild because they are both in their way of plunging the world into an everlasting nightmare.
The rangers attack the demons to stop them, but do not openly attack the Mages Guild, seeing as they are human as well. When the Mages Guild do attack them, they only block the attacks and defend themselves, rather than attacking back.
The Mages Guild attack both the demons and the rangers without holding back, believing the rangers to be equally evil due to their affiliation with shadow magic.

There is going to be a 6th ranger, but he technically won't be a ranger. Much like the Blue Centurion from Turbo and the Magna Defender from Lost Galaxy, he won't have "ranger" in his name, but he fills the slot ^^
