no, in some cases it becomes a very good one. it may save your life, or what is left of it.
dreams are overrated

you'd think sadness is a permanent state in me.
not true, but it's enough of a moment. or moments.
thanks dear

joy and sadness the inseparable companions, one does not go without the other, this reminds me of the following extract from a poem by Khalil Gibran:
"When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy.
When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.
Some of you say, "Joy is greater than sorrow," and others say, "Nay, sorrow is the greater."
But I say unto you, they are inseparable."

yes, one can't but agree with Gibran.
and i know that, by personal experience.
haven't read Jibran, since school... i should be ashamed, our own J.Kh.J.

a serene image but with tension in the neck angle - and the control and expressive use of colors is wonderful - those pink cheeks!
this might be a benevolent presence looking down on a world, but then again we might be looking down on a peaceful sleeper under a brown blanket... neither of those readings connects with the title - when i think of that, i see the flow of the piece from left to right
it's great, Hanan

that made it for me, the angle of the neck. i often get red cheeks in water photos, it's great to get back to youth for the time of an image
i read it from up to bottom, like you told me and like i do usually from right to left (in arabic)
