My playing was atrocious. Nothing like the guitar....the violin is tune "upside down" in relation to the guitar and I could not get past the difference.
Well, your son, he worked at it for a year, that is good. I learned the guitar (self taught) because I thought girls would be impressed. I was severely wrong, but I had learned to play the instrument, and still do to this day. Who needs those silly girls anyway?

well it was (like usual) a wooden "wall". someone has made these cool designs, the orange granulous things are cement that fell down from a building being finished and painted just near it.
but 
first time i have this big problem with a dA post. i sharpened it 3 times after i resized, and every time i uploaded it, it became soft again. i lost all the interest of the orange granules that looked so crisp (the most dramatic thing in the image) too bad!

it was already sRGB.
but guess what? it was a huge image, and i resized it too small the first time.
now i made it a bigger size and the loss of sharpness is minimal
