I think the best way I can describe this is "lovely in its mystery". You don't know what you're looking at, but that doesn't stop it from leading the mind to interesting places. Very cool.

this is hauntingly beautiful, i love the way that the image (no matter what you consider it to be) always seems to be hanging in a sombre manner. incredible work

i wanted it to show a body/soul floating with serenity and sadness in a liquid ( symbolizing the amniotic liquid)
of course, i saw all that after making it, the initial image is a self-portrait.

I'm not one to say anything bad against any form of art, because most of the time I don't understand it very much or aren't into it at all, but I'll make an exception this time.
There are some forms of abstract art I like and some I don't, this for me is unfailingly simple to the umpteenth degree, and something I could have done on a whim in the time span of 3 minutes.
Perhaps there's some hidden message or meaning I'm not seeing, but it's too simple for me and it maybe selfish and idiotic for me to say but not deserving of a DD, but then again, I will say something positive, it was good enough to earn a DD so somebody likes it.

i think abstract should be even more empty and simple. but this is my own opinion. it's about how moving it is, and not how much pixels it contains, or how much time it took to make. you know, most photos in the world take mush less than a second to take
DD is not a excellency prize, it is just two persons opinion, the suggester and the featurer. they have been kind enough, i appreciate!
i happen to like this image too (not all of my images i like) it's a self-portrait, but I would or not have choosen it to represent my gallery.
take a look, maybe you'll find something to like.
