what a fascinating dialogue it is between the eye and the lens. the eye thinks, or guesses, "good image" and the lens replies "yes" or "no" - and of course editing enters the conversation too.

yes it does, a lot, depending where you want to take the image to.

you know, it was a very "short" barrier, it lasted for a few seconds, in the car. i only had the time to clic and i left the thinking for after. like you said the eye registers the interest before the brain, i guess

you must have had your camera already in your hand or very close to it! there are a couple places on the highway in New York state i want to shoot from the car but i keep failing to be ready though we go by them time and again. and of course sometimes i'm driving, can't do it then

i was taking pictures all the way. it's a bus (not a car like i said before) and it helped me being above the other cars.
i got a lot of good pictures that day!
