I forgot I had this one acctually. I had recieved a commission not so long ago that I created for a guy at my old school, and this was it. I had forgotten that he gave me his permission to display this wallpaper on my deviantart account. any ways, I had fun doing this piece, my girl friend acctually modeled for me so I could get the pose right. In the end I think it turned out rather dark for my tastes, but hey, its a dark character any ways. So I hope you all like it as much as the guy I made it for.Related content

seriously i came back to take another look at it today (tonight whatever time it is) and im still struck in awe of it.this has to be hands down one of the most beautiful pictures ive seen in a while (admittedly it could be my fan side talking seeing as how im more than a tad biased on the subject content...*cough* im indebted to you for posting this and your friend for allowing it to be posted.

What a fantastic job you've done, her expression is incredibly beautiful yet somewhat cold but that's the way she is or at least toward's human's anyway!
I like the mist effect in the sky and the moon is perfectly detailed, her wing's look really cool and the lighting really highlight's her body so well.^^

Gargoyles don't have belly buttons. At least not the ones from this series as they are hatched, not birthed.

Well, *technically* only the males don't have nipples as far as we know given that we never saw any of the females topless... and since they are females they could still have nipples. We don't know how the gargoyles function in terms of nurturing their young. We don't know if they do in fact give milk like mammals... they are after all, humanoid creatures so the females could very well have nipples... but we DO know that baby gargoyles are hatched, and despite it being fantasy, they do try to stay to "realistic" motif's, and what we know about anything born in an egg, they don't have belly buttons since the whole purpose of a belly button is that it was once an umbilical cord, and umbilical cords are only found in mammals. Gargoyles are reptilian, HOWEVER, once again, the fact that they are humanoid, leads me to believe maybe they are reptilian in the way they reproduce, but mammalistic in the way they nurture. But I don't friggen know, it's a cartoon and I just have way too much time on my hands LOL.

Yes I know but they are also fantasy creatures so they could be some sort of hybrid. I honestly think the belly button was just an oversight. It happens. When you're drawing a humanoid character, it's just a minor detail that you don't even think about it. And if you're generally someone who draws humans, it's just habit. At any rate, the artwork is gorgeous with or without a belly button

haha it's ok. They're such humanoid creatures it's a common oversight. Besides... i've seen every episode like.. over 50 times.. if I didn't know that by now well then... i just fail at life then haha. *obsession*

if their clothes turn to stone with them does that mean that everything in physical contact with em turns to stone? if so does that mean any person touching them when they turn to stone is also turned to stone?
only watched the sow a couple of times, but it was a nice show and I've seen more ppl remarking it should have continued.
