Description
"Imagination called up the shocking form of fabulous Yog-Sothoth — only a congeries of iridescent globes, yet stupendous in its malign suggestiveness." - H.P. LovecraftCompanion piece to [link] in a way, though I am not quite so fond of this fellow as I am his predecessor.
It also seems like someone took great pains to censor some of the writing after the manuscript whence this page came was scanned...! How strange...

In my fan-fic, I examine a book that had magical revelations so AWFUL that it was not enough to merely destroy it. It had to be banished from reality, into the realm of dream itself !
If one did the Soma formulas properly -all well & good . But if one made the slightest error, and such was likely, the most awful death resulted !

I always saw Yoggy as a "living" or at least sentinet collection of portals. Each of it's spheres is a portal to another space and time

Or burns down to and exposing the bones, like Krokodil, if you don't ask Yog Sothoth nicely before touching the globe.

I highly approve of that interpretation.

Yeah, I'd definitely say I like Azathoth better, and not just because of the coffee stain.
Doesn't mean ol' Yog's bad or anything.
Plan on making more of the Great Old Ones?
