I am so in love with this piece. It has been a major inspiration to some of my short stories. I would love to see more in this series!

I like how you did the "hair". The small bottle she carries around with her relly makes mecourious, whatΒ΄s inside.

Gorgous piece... though... any reason her forearms are so long and her upper arms so short?

Sweet syrup from maple trees! This is seriously incredible work. The 3D work on this site incredibly has gone to grand degrees higher. Certainly, your artistic work is a prime example of that.
Fav'd, as you should know.
I'd love to see this character in water to know if a tail is crafted out of her legs. Is such possible? The answer to the curiosity... and possibility of seeing your depiction of such.

I really love the women you do in your gallery, because they way you create them, even if they are half naked, they aren't really supposed to be viewed as sexual objects, they're viewed as both beautiful, and powerful. This is one of my favorites

Pardon my asking, I was just curious. This is extremely similar to an NPC in the game! Like, exact. If it is, IT IS SUPER DE DUPER DE AWESOME Again, nice work.

ahah glad someone spotted it, actually I've been art director on RS for two years, so yes I'm the one to blame for all the last graphical changes. I did my mermaid 10 years ago, but felt that she was going to fit perfectly with that one particular quest ( the mermaid trapped inside the Queen dragon) so I let Jagex borrow her for that story

OMG! That's soo cool! The new graphical changes are wonderful! By the way, you are right, she does fit perfectly. "Seasinger Umi" of the P.O.P is where I noticed the similarities
. However, now that I think about it, The mermaid in the Dragon is the same as well.
. Again, this is awesome, you're awesome, are you still the art director now?

nope, moved back to Ubisoft Montreal, but don't worry, there is plenty more updates to come I worked on, and the guys are now really on the good tracks, all they needed is just a little push, nothing more!

That's just so atmospheric and I can't help but wonder what she will do with the conjured jellyfish and what is in the hip flask.
