I don't think its worth worrying too much about the boundary between fantasy and scifi. Its a hard line for anyone to draw, but to be honest, with work of this quality, nobody is likely to worry about a minor classification error
If you're really stuck, i guess ask what you enjoyed more making the image. If its the creature/character (like with the fairy) then go for fantasy, if its the techy bits though: wings, jetpacks, armour etc, go scifi
I think actually, i prefer this one to the fairy, now i lok closer.
The details are more attractive to me, and it seems a more balanced image. Love that big collar too. Great stuf
