This is a strange feeling, but i always feel like everything you paint actually happened. And since you paint a lot of happy moments i always think to myself "he must live quite the life!"

Well... to be honest, most of these images are based on my own experience. The three in this series.I've lived.. except that I am a guy, so in the first image, it would be me, a guy, late a night hanging out with the cat..
I bike a lot, and on hot days, getting into a kitchen, after you've been out in the sun for a while, you see everything darker... and the lights just shine brighter to your eyes.. hence the second image.. ( notice they have bike helmets on the table!)
and today's.. well.. it's a party.. I've lived through quite a few of these.

I agree so much! Now that you mention it, I only realized it, but yes, it does feel that way!
And to be honest, I'm even a little bit jealous of that life in the picture there. I wish I was part of it.
