You sort of capture a young adult version of the experiences of Calvin and Hobbes. If they weren't always talking, of course.

this is definitely something that makes this east coaster feel better....
and another beautiful, funny, and very sweet moment!
we always had teams at recess (hidden from our teachers... we weren't allowed to have snowball fights... it was a little kid underground ring of snowballers.... hahaha.)
in college, i just remember, the snow was so deep, my friend face planted in the snow, pulled me down with her... and then the rest of our friends capitulated to the snow chaos, i wouldn't call it a snowball fight, it was too powdery to make it a legitimate snowball fight... it was more flinging bits of fluffy snow at one another... more pretty than anything. we were absolutely soaked afterward... and while i didn't have class, a few of our friends skipped theirs to get in on the fun.
kids at home reading this: the lesson to be learned is: go to class! and do not jump into impromptu snowball fights!

Such sharp colors, gorgeous contrast with all the white. I also like how the focus in the foreground on the right makes it seem we're viewing it on an angle. And the snowflakes are just perfect!
