Wow, this totally reminds me of this painting that I studied in art class done by a French guy (I forgot his name D during the one of the eras for European art.

Your foreground elements are too bright, they throw off the depth in the image and make your entire street thing look like a flat hole. Desaturate and darken the buildings in front, and your depth will make more sense.
